Best cover for large (10' diameter) spa with 2ft rim

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a good cover for my spa that has a 10' diameter and no real 'edge'; it's more a 2ft wide pool deck around. Should it sit up on top or float on the water? Easy to remove, preferably.

I'm getting quoted for one of the floating Thermo Light covers from Merlin: Spa Covers – Merlin Industries

Anyone try these? Note: this is Chicago, we don't keep it open during the winter, it gets sun about 4-5 hours a day.
