We have a construction project going on in an indoor pool area... not related to the pool. The construction crew has covered the pool with a tarp. Is it best to leave the pump running and chemical feeders operational during the construction or okay to just shut the pump off and leave the pool sit for 4-6 weeks?

i wouldn’t let it sit stagnant, that would risk a nasty swamp pool when you pull the cover off.

Can you still test the pool daily while construction is on going? I would shut the feeders off and then revert to manual testing and dosing as-needed. With little use and a cover, there’s going to be a lot less chemical demand.

Thank you. We do have an Aquasol Controller on the system so it keeps the chemical levels very consistent. I'm assuming that if there is a lot less demand the Controller will adjust for that. Thanks again.
