Beatbot AquaSense Cordless Pool Robot

I purchased the no pro version of this robot and have been trying it out this week. My robot will not complete a cleaning cycle because it keeps getting hung up on the floor drains in the deep end. My dophin m600 never had this problem. Anyone else experience this? You can see a pic of my floor drains in my profile pic. Maybe I need a different style floor drain.

I bought the pro version three weeks ago. So far I'm very happy with it; I get a lot of pollen on top of the pool surface so the skimming feature is great. I have the same problem as others not getting a notification when its done cleaning. I was standing right next to it as it moored and still did not get any notification. I also didn't get any mapping picture when it completed the cleaning.

Further I never got a firm update on the 21st. Did anyone else not get this update?

No update, they informed me that it will be late. however, they are supposed to send one to my robot tomorrow (06/28) to test, so I will keep you posted.

On that note, these people are really very responsive with emails. It is a very welcome change and the only reason I have not returned mine. I actually just told them that this morning in a lengthy email. Basically, my issue is the pattern that its cleaning in (see my previous posts), if they could work that out, it's a keeper. I have been sending them videos of it cleaning and videos of my old Sigma cleaning my pool. And as of yesterday, I now have the Wybot S2 to throw into the mix. Its 1st mission went really well.

I really want the BB to be my robot but for 1/3 the price, the S2 is looking more attractive, at least after one mission. I will be trying other missions this weekend for sure.

For the price I would want to see an ultra fine filter. I like the idea of combining the surface skimming and the pool cleaning. I would like to see something like this with solar charging. A bot that could clean the bottom of the pool until the batteries get low, come to the surface and skim while it’s recharging its batteries. That would be the ultimate bot IMOP.

Send that to BeatBot.
Some time ago there was a thread where it was listed all the wants of a cordless bot
Can't find it now but it is always best to send info to developers.

Just wanted to take a minute and update about my ongoing experience with my Pro version.

So, they still are very engaged with me and appear to really be going out of their way to improve my experience...so much so, that they told me not to worry about the 30 day return window as they will let me return it any time if they can not make me happy (I won't even go there lol) . If you read my previous posts you will see that my main issue is that it does not seem to understand the shape of my rectangle pool and just cleaned the center /diagonal of my floor.

At any rate, Friday they sent me an update that is supposedly just to me and warned me that it has not gone through any testing, but they wanted me to try it. Its FW version 9.9.99 so I suspect they are being honest about it. It made a huge difference! It's quite incredible actually.

Its still not perfect but it now gets 95% of the floor and about 90% of the tile/wall in the floor/ wall mode. My Dolphin Sigma gets most of the floor but only about 60% of the tiles/wall.

In the Beta mode on the max setting, it gets everything but a few tiles on the wall, but it takes 4 hours.

FWIW this weekend I sat and watched it for those 4 hours for one mission (i was sick) and made marks on a to-scale sketch of my pool.
I have also used this sketch with time lapse video many times and come up with the repeatable results.

I have run about 22 missions (all recorded and sent to them) and the ones since the .99 update are night and day difference.

I will continue to update but this has gone form am probably returning it, to wow....a company that actually listens to one person's complaints and actually works on them. To me, this is worth the price of admission all by itself.

I have also been testing the new Wybot S2 (non pro) that maybe I will do a new thread on, but Its not the same story at all....spoiler alert...it's going back no matter what, even if they manage to "fix" it in the next 2 weeks (my return window).

Hey, it’s not like these robots are going to get worse in the next few years. I think we are just scratching the surface of what is coming. If I were a betting man, I would be shorting Maytronics now. (BTW. Do not take stock advice from me, or anyone else on this site).

Well, I just purchased one. My pool is only 2 weeks old, and I've never had a pool or robotic cleaner before, so I have nothing to compare to, but I will share my thoughts!
Got this today! Unfortunately it's gotten stuck twice in the span of an hour on my drains. Anyone else have similar drains?

Mine continues to get stock on drains and kills the battery trying to get off of them. My dolphin m600 could usually work itself off but this one will not.
