Bartop area - roof/shade/rain help

To go along with our deck, I decided to add on a platform with a bar top section. Since this area is in direct sunlight all day I want to add a roof or cover over the top.

The current build feels a bit wobbly as the posts are only held up by brackets on the bottom attached to the deck. I can shore this up, but the thought of framing the top and adding a roof/shingles would be too heavy.

I also thought about metal roofing but my area is not square. I don't know if the metal can angle itself over each other if it can only be attached directly side by side.

I also looked at shade sails but I don't think this can hold up to the tension they need, plus mine isn't square or triangle shaped.

My shape is more like a trapezoid. One side is straight, the other side near the house is angled. I haven't gotten the measurements yet fyi.

I'm looking for any suggestions that might fill the shade requirement while also holding off water when it rains. Would also be nice to be able to take off and put on because of winters.

If the structure cannot hold a shade sail I don't see what can be lighter and less stressful.
