I use a Taylor 2006c test kit. Borates from boric acid Bulk Apothecary (comes granular in 55 lb bag $108 with shipping) I use plain old grocery store bleach nightly and bump (not slam) with cal hypo maybe every few weeks. I have a lot of tree junk fall in and I think it’s still cleaner than my well water. The water is a combo of trucked in city, well and Mother Nature’s finest rain.
