I ntoiced my Walmart is now stocking large bags of Baking Soda in their pool supply section. 
And Arm and Hammer has some Backing Soda 3" Tabs they are selling there too. Evidently you use them in a feeder (separate from your Chlorine feeder) and they offset the PH drop from the Trichlor pucks. Looks like BBB is gaining mainstream attention.
