As the title says, I have to physically hold the hose on the backwash nozzle otherwise the pressure of the water violently builds up and shoots the hose off. I've never seen this issue before.
Pressure in the filter gets up to 18-20 consistently. Can't figure out how to lower it. But I also have an air leak that I thought I fixed previously, but apparently it's still happening.
I replaced the pump basket seal/gasket already and cleaned/refilled the DE filter a couple of days ago. Not much has gone in the skimmers since, and i just backwashed and not much came out in terms of debris or DE. I was kind of surprised.
Any ideas? Thanks!
