B&D pool pump clock issues

Hi everyone, I have a Black & Decker 1.5 HP variable speed pump, which works great. But each day I have to check the clock time because it seems to slow down so that the clock time is wrong by the next day. Sometimes it's off by 20-30 minutes and other times it's off by hours or more. So, I reset the clock time to the proper time and in a day or two, I notice that it's not running it's scheduled program correctly. Also, during its scheduled "off" program, it will be running at 1000 rpm even though it shouldn't be running at all. Please help, thank you.
 
How old is your pump?

You paid a premium for the B+D warranty. Contact their customer support.
 
Thank you all for your input. FYI - I installed it in the fall of 2023 but bought it a few years ago. I turned off the breaker for a minute to test the controller but that didn't fix the problems. So, I'm at the end of a 24 hour no power test to see if that helps the controller factory reset. I'll be turning the breaker back on and setting the time this afternoon, wish me luck. B&D referred me to poolpartstogo.com and if my power test doesn't fix it, I'll be contacting them since that's where I purchased the pump. Once again, thank you all that have offered helpful advice!
