Away from Spa for 1 Week

Hello.

I have been successfully using the Dichlor-bleach process for a few months. Everything is balanced and I test daily or every other day. My question is: I am going to be out of town for 1 week and will not have anyone available to treat my tub while I’m gone. How high can I safely take FC to make it through the week? Current pH 7.5, CYA is about 30 and borates are 50. Any other recommendations?

Shock it and put the cover on. You'll be fine.

Ok. Thanks. That is what I had done previously when I used solely Dichlor but now that I’m enlightened, I wanted to make sure.

I am glad you are enlightened. I personally use solely dichlor.
Well, with a mineral purifier, ozone, and frequent water changes.
But I get lectured when I mention that here, so don't tell anyone. ?
