Automation is not starting heat pump

Hello,
I just added a Pentair Heat Pump to my EasyTouch via RS485 but the Heat Pump is not starting, did I miss something?
- Connected the green and yellow com cable to my com port extension board in the easy touch
- Activated the heat pump com in settings
- connected the other end of the com cable to the heat pump com port
- Set the the heat pump to RS485 communication
- Can see the little * blinking

When I push the "V" button on the Easytouch the pump speed increases to 2,800 rpm as programmed and the red led over the heater symbol switches on but the heat pump remains off (even after waiting for 10 min)
What I noticed is that the red led turns not on if the Heater menu is set to HeatPump it just turns on when the menu is set to HeatPump Pref. Unfortunately I don't know what the difference is.

Any ideas or tips to solve the issue are appreciated, thank you!

I don't claim to be fluent in Pentarian, but my reading of the ET manual suggests a heat pump should be enabled in the Solar menu in addition to the things you've already done.

You need a temperature sensor or 10K resistor connected to the Solar Temp sensor for a Heat Pump to work on the EasyTouch.

You can steal the air temp sensor and connect it to the solar to test it immediately until you get a resistor.

Thanks, I will try it with the air temp sensor, initially I had a 3rd party temp sensor connected which I had laying around. Maybe it was not close enough to 10k.

It is finally working, thank you very much for your support!
The solution was to disable the heat pump in the "heater" menu and then get access to the "solar" menu where I enabled the heat pump.
Everything works now almost as it should. The only strange thing is that when I push the "V" button or turn on Spa on my app I get a red LED on top of the solar symbol and not above the heater symbol but it is instantly kicking on the heat pump and is turning the valves as it should, but this is just a very minor annoyance, once again thank you very much for your support!
