Automation and JVA Value Setup/Recommendations

That 4th 3 pin connector is, from what I understand, for an additional Solar JVA and the one beside it is for a Solar Aux, for something like a Heater.

Which one of those (if any) is for your Smart JVA? Im assuming your smart jva module is the same as mine, just to make sure. I just dont know why nothing is showing for me to set up, its all powered up. I get the littel green blinking light on the smart jva board and my control panel comes up too.

OK I just went and looked. Yes, my SmartJVA board is plugged into AUX3. Then the JVA that it controls is plugged into the SmartJVA board. It should then show up in Aqualink. And you'll assign it on the SmartJVA Screen.

FYI: I am using my CleanerJVA connection.

This is probably the final question I can ask you specifically, im waiting to hear back from a few pool installers who also dont know what Smart JVA is.

In your original post on how to get it all working, you mentioned having to remove a relay connection from the Aux 3 port for it to work because the Smart JVA doesn't need a relay. How can I check if I need to do this step?

Check the relay ports and see if they are connected to a relay that has nothing plugged into it. But I was mistaken in that assumption. It does not matter if a relay is hooked up to the port. It will activate the relay, but if nothing is plugged into the relay, it doesn't matter.

The below are relay ports. Just follow the wires to the relay and see if the relay has anything connected to it.

Ok, this is the conclusion -

Jandy has confirmed for me that Aqualink Rev Y no longer supports Smart JVA functionality, so at some point between R and Y, they dropped this function. @PoolGate, I appreciate all of the help trying to set this up with me, but unfortunately it will just not work on my system.

It was buggy and ill-designed anyway. Probably they dropped support because they literally could not support it. I would not give up yet though. I suspect if you install it correctly, it will work. Fluidra likes to say a lot of things that aren't true. Sure, Jandy doesn't "support" it, but it doesn't mean it actually won't work. I had issues getting mine to work too but eventually everything was put correctly and it worked.

Tell me again where it is plugged into? And also print screens of all the screens I posted above.
