Automate a Hayward 940

My a
Autopilot died after 16 years and they have no sales in Canada.
just got a Hayward 940 and got it up and producing but there seems to be no way to set on / off times so I’m thinking to use the timer in the Inteliflow pump for times and let the flow switch in the Hayward shut the generation off when the pump stops?
Anyone have comments on this idea

TFP does not advise that. The first safety device for a SWCG is no power to the device when the pump is not running. The secondary is the flow switch.

If a SWCG gets powered on with no flow, they can explode. Does not happen often, but happens.

Thanks... yes ... electrolysis will not only activate the salt but electrolyze the water into H and O. Booom ! Thanks for pointing that out.
I guess the solution is to use the time built into the pump, reconnect the generators to 110 V and then set it to run only when the pump is running

Good advice .... thank you !!!!
