Ive had an issue before where some plant material (mysteriously) is growing inside the pipe draining the autofill "pot" into the pool. Everything is underwater and the pool is chlorinated. Any tips on how to clear this material (a coat hanger doesn't work and neither does a jet of water from sprayer) and how in the world its growing in this environment?

What kind of pipes are they growing into? Do you mean they are going THROUGH the pipes?
Okay used a small plumbers snake and got THIS rootball removed. Completely plugging the pipe. But there Are no plants nearby and Bermuda grass is about 3 Feet from edge…
So update, it appears the "drain" pipe that feeds the autofill chamber to the pool has definitely lost integrity as there is continual "root" material growing and clogging the pipe. The question is what type of professional would I use to "reclad" this pipe with a new smaller diameter pipe? I think digging up the two feet run would be expensive since it penetrates through the gunnite of the pool wall...
