Saw some similar questions, but not exactly the problem I'm having, so here it is. My pool is in its 3rd season. It has a standard auto leveler set up. The cannister is installed level with the deck, right next to the pool, maybe 18" from water. First 2 seasons, it worked perfectly. Early this spring, I noticed that the float valve was stuck open. It was plastic, and the float adjustment had broken and wouldn't tighten anymore. So I replaced it with a brass float valve. I confirmed the valve worked and set the float to be as high as possible, so that it would open at the slightest water level drop. Since then, the pool water level keeps getting low, but the water in the auto leveler cannister is always full. I've confirmed that the valve is working and that the outlet to the pool isn't blocked. But the water doesn't seem to transfer to the pool for some reason. I also haven't found a leak anywhere that would drain water faster than it can refill. Any ideas?
