Hi all. new to this forum. Came here due to 0 support from Hayward. I have an Auqanaut 400 that likes to lay on its side most of the day. I have tried to connect it to both the dedicated cleaner port and the skimmer port. Same issue. I have turned off all other suction so that the RPM is around 15, same issue. I have heard something about adjusting weights but for the life of me I don't think this thing has weights. Anyone have this same unit that was able to fix this issue? Glenn

Welcome to TFP.

Review the attached Aquanaut Troubleshooting Guide.

Show us pictures of the cleaner sitting in the water.

Hi all. So Hayward sent me the floats. Night & day difference. Can't believe it didn't come with them like it was supposed to. Now I have another issue. It cleans the bottom just fine, but everything I read says it should go up the walls. It's not. Won't go up the walls or my stairs and/or my sun shelf. Should I be OK with this? Any tricks to get it to go up the walls/stairs/sun shelf? The speed is within the 11-14 RPM.

The cleaner won't clean the stairs or sun shelf. Just use your pool brush on those.
Also, manually brush the pool walls.

Climbing the walls is hit or miss. The 4-wheel model isn't very good at climbing the walls. You can try increasing the suction (but the cleaner will move faster - maybe too fast) or change out the suction inlet for a different sized one.

What RPM are you running the pump at when using the cleaner?
