Anyone familiar with the artic armour mesh safety cover? I have received samples of different brands and it seem from the sample that it may block more light than loop loc. I am not sure who really makes artic armour. First was set on loop loc but now not sure. Thanks for any information.

I do not have a mesh safety cover, but I can tell you that the better quality ones will block more sunlight, thereby reducing the changes of algae. They only last so long, so if this was my pool, I would purchase the least expensive one, and use temporary tarps over the mesh (allow some water and break in areas for drainage) until the water gets below 60* and then remove them. No reason to spend another $1,000 on the more expensive one. They cost enough and IMO, just not worth it unless you have pets, small children, etc.
