When I was a kid, my parents had an in-ground pool. We started off with a roller cover that had the round sides on it (the side was just like a spoked wheel). The roller cover would get blown in the pool all the time. Later my dad bought a roller that was bolted into the concrete and the roller bar actually sat in the pool (at water height). The roller handle came up on one end and you could crank it to put it out or in.
I'm looking for the same system, but I can't seem to find it. Can someone point me to a supplier that sells something like this? I called the local store, and they suggested that it was called a Rocky Roller. But I just went to their website and it seems that their systems still roll out to the pool and then you put out the cover from there. But, I want a submersible on (or at least one that sits on top of the water and doesn't get removed.
