This is a very old post, but I have currently installed a new inground pool and am having the exact same issue with my AquaRite 900. I can turn the unit on and the amperage and salinity levels read, and then a short period of time later the amperage and salinity levels are at 0.0. My water temperature is not the issue as it is currently 84F. This is a brand new cell. Is there anyone that might have an answer as to why I'm getting these readings? The panel light states that it is "Generating" salt, but is it truly generating salt when the amperage output reads 0.0? I can't seem to find an answer anywhere that may help me remedy my issue.
