Aquapure ERROR CODE 120

i am getting the 120 error code on the reverse cycle only... i have cleaned the cell, all seems good. cleaned the electrical terminals..all seems good. cell is producing but at a low level.
thoughts & recommendations??

Most likely the cell has worn out in one direction and when it switches polarity it will either work or show the 120 code. If the cell is from 2011 I would say there is a 99% chance the cell needs to be replaced. A damaged power cord could cause a 120 fault so make sure the big black cable is in good condition.

what would you say is the average life of a cell? this one is only 2 yrs old.

It should be under warranty if it is only 2 years old. Is the cell size a 1400 or 700?

I've seen cells last a year all the way to 10 years.
