Aqualink Problems

Do I keep my Aqualink or destroy it?

I have spent sooo much time configuring my Modem, Aqualink System. I have upgraded it, called product support and just spent 6 hours the other day doing a complete reboot of everything.

I leave for a trip and it does not allow me to get into the automation.

I honestly think that this Aqualink is way too antiquated for a modern modem and way too complicated for its ownership.

Welcome to TFP.

Do you want to discuss diagnosing your connection problems or discuss replacement options. It would help to know details of your pool equipment?

Not sure what you mean by "modern modem". Your Aqualink should connect into your network via WiFi. What happens after that connection has nothing to do with the system age nor is the system even aware of it. If you are dropping the connection it is because you do not have a strong signal at the Aqualink antenna. Can you move your wireless access point closer to the Aqualink? If not, consider hard-wiring the Aqualink. You can also try a wireless booster.
