I have a Jandy Aqualink system in a house I just bought. I've been trying to program the pump using the PDA. This is an old RF system, not the newer WiFi one. I want the in-floor Cleaner to run from 7am-10am, then regular Pool mode from 10am-2pm.
Here's how I program it :
Menu-Program-VSP1SpdPgm-Cleaner, set it for 7-10
Menu-Program-VSP1SpdPgm-Pool, set it for 10-2.
There is also a programming choice for Menu-Program-FilterPump. I can set that to run 7-2, or leave it empty, doesn't make any difference.
What is currently actually happening, it runs in Cleaner mode from 7-10, then goes to Pool mode forever. Doesn't stop at 2:00pm. Just keeps running. Then Cleaner mode at 7am the next day.
This is not the first time this thing has gone rogue, ignoring my programming. Last time, I deleted all programming and started again, then it worked ok. This time, I had it set up to do Cleaner mode and then Spillover (not regular "Pool" mode) during the hottest summer days. Recently I removed the Spillover program and added the "Pool" program described above, and now it's gone rogue again.
Am I doing something wrong? Kinda embarassing cuz I am a programmer and have tried every way to Sunday to get this POS to do what I need it to do. The last idea I can think of is to bash it to bits with a sledgehammer.

There are 2 programs for off season and on season. Make sure the correct one is active.

Also I would do pool mode from 6:55am to 2:00pm and cleaner from 7:00am to 10:00am. Aqualink does not like to stop one thing and start another at the same time.

The filter/pump function is the main pump on/off trigger for the software. Pool and Cleaner that you are programming are just VSP speeds setting and while it will turn the pump on, the software won’t think the pump is on as you won’t get a temperature display for the pool.

The Aqualink software really wants to see the Filter/pump function active any time the pump is running.

Set filter/pump to be active from 7am to 2pm and then schedule Cleaner and Pool speeds as a you are now. Filter/pump turning off at 2pm will signal to the software that the pump should turn off.

I forgot to add that the Pool speed is automatically associated with the filter/pump function so there is no need to schedule the pool speed separately.

Just schedule filter/pump the whole time you want the pump running, and then schedule the faster speeds (like VSP:cleaner) as a subset of the filter/pump time.
