HI all,

Newbie here, so be kind please.

I have an Aquabot Breeze XLS pool cleaner. Up until the last few days it has worked great.

A couple of days ago I noticed that the cleaner would end up on it's back in the pool - lights flashing on the box. Figured it had climbed too high up the wall and just flipped. I reset it and let it go. It happened another 3 times and then I watched it. It only went in one direction - forward.

Now when I turn it on, it will work for a while - I hear the relay click and then a few seconds after it starts double flashing and gives up.
I have measured the output voltage on the box and I have 47 volts while it works, relay clicks and then zero volts. Is this because I have the pool motor disconnected?
Should the voltage flip to -47 volts to effectively run the motor backwards? No power after relay flips - is it likely to be the relay?
I have checked continuity through all the cabling and it seems good.
What should the motor resistance be?
How does it know when the cleaner is out of the pool?
Any other tests I can do to ?

thanks Bob
