I have an issue that I can't find any other posts on, and I hope someone can shed some light on the fix for it. My Aqua Logic PS-8 / Hayward GLX-PCB-MAIN system is putting itself into Service Mode every 1 to 2 days. It started happening after I turned the system off and replaced the electric motor on the main pool circulating pump. All electrical connections on the pump motor are hooked up correctly and the motor runs fine.
There have been a very few of times when the display showed Communication Error 1 or Communication Error 2 (and when that happened, it has mostly been 2), but those are the few exceptions; instead, it has nearly always gone into Service Mode. Once I press the Service Mode button to return to Pool Mode all runs great for a day or two, then it is back to Service Mode on its own.
I'm at a loss, does anyone have any ideas of how to fix this? Thanks in advance.
