Appropriate PPM reading AquaRite 900

Hi everyone,

Finished slamming my pool last week and everything looks good. FC levels are currently coming down to the 4-5 range with my PH at 7.2 and my CYA @ 70. I am trying to get my SWG going to keep me in FC range. Optimum levels for salt are 2700-3400 ppm and my Aquarite is reading 3500-3600ppm/ Water balance for SW pools reads " Salt 200-400 ppm ABOVE recommended optimum level" which I am at but boy is it salty to me.

Two questions. Is the reading of 3500-3600 instant reading acceptable? and is there a way to lower the salt taste without affecting my FC?

Your current salt levels are fine.
One option to lower the salt taste is to keep your mouth shut
Or you have to replace water and lower the salinity which will impact the SWG if you go too low.
