Sorry I have been travelling. My pool has indeed got a liner. Sorry fir any confusion.
I followed all advice and by lowering the ph substantially and scrubbing hard, the pool improved exponentially before we left. Have given the guy who looks after it overwinter serious instructions about ph level whilst we are away and he had just sent me a video in which the water looks great. I am going to get hold of some acidi ascorbico to take with us next time we are there as well, just in case there is any iron staining left. Any tips about how to use it- quantities etc? It will be in powder form? Our pool is 90000 litres and we use TFP bleach system.
