I am replacing my spa pump - and have completed the install but white smoke came out of the back of the motor - sounded like the Single Speed Switch did not disengage causing the start capicitor to blow. what would cause the switch to go bad or be faulty? And should it disengage after the pump starts?[h=1][/h]
