Anyway to change a 1.25" port (for pool vacuum hose) to 1.50"

Hi,

I have a pool that for some reason has a 1.25" sized opening for the vacuum hose. I cant find a 1.25" vacuum hose that is a minimum of 40 feet long. Is it possible to change the pool port opening size from 1.25 to 1.50?

Anything is possible but I think using a robot pool cleaner will be easier and maybe less cost.

Definitely. I have one of those but my pool is negative edge and has floating water steps. This area is too small for a pool robot unless they make one that is 12". I could use a cordless pool vacuum but they need to be submerged and the water isnt very deep. Thanks for helping.

They make adapter ends for pool hoses, I believe you can buy an 1 1/2 hose and then swap one of the ends for such an adapter.

Thank you. I have one and it cracked, was hoping for a more elegant solution but I think I'll just use the adapter, I appreciate it.
