Just curious, this seems easier to incorporate into to your pool water than pellets, anyone use liquid calcium? Came upon it because I'm spending my whole morning trying to source calcium chloride in the summer. And I live in Maine! Every local hardware store I called said it was in storage for the summer and they couldn't get to it. So is it s good product for pools? Is the conversion 8lbs to a gallon? Liquid Calcium

It is 32% CaCl by weight. If it is in a water solution, 1 gallon would be equivalent to 2.56lbs of dry calcium chloride. Seems like a really expensive solution.

My tap water is pretty much liquid calcium, if that counts. Otherwise, no.
OK, I finally found a 50lb bag of 100% calcium chloride at my local Lowe's for about $25.
