Anyone know what the problem is?

I have those! Cana Lillies! I water them everyday early in the morning and some of the leaves turn like that too...not sure why.
Possibly too much sun?? I have mine on north side of 2 story house and are in shade almost all day - just some morning sun. Mine have really dark leaves. In mid summer, some of the outer leaves get some mid day sun and the ones farthest west get some late day sun...and they are not happy. Actually burns the leaf tips.
Update: my bad. I just realized I was describing the cast iron plants. The canna are my plants that looked awesome last year, but a hard freeze this winter toasted them this year. Only got 2 out of 10 to grow to a decent size. They need a lot of water.

btw, I was in Niagra Falls in June. Beautiful. Stayed on the Canadian side.

If you stayed at embassy suites, the Radisson, the Fallsview casino, or either Marriott, then you could probably see my TFP from the (city view) window.
nope. did not. We let our 21 y/o former German exchange student find the place and pay for it... I won't tell you where/what it was....sigh...but we survived!
