Anyone have a Super Splash Pool?

We live in Kansas, and have to close our pool in the fall. If you have this pool, do you place a plug inside the pool, before removing the bottom hose? I have heard that some close the valve and leave it connected, but remove the hose - but with it would crack in the type of winters we have.

I would like to hear how you go about winterizing, and how long you have had the pool. Thanks!

I do not have that type but unless that valve is emptied, I would see that breaking. I would think plug & remove valve or make sure open valve & empty if you can plug it with valve on.
