Anyone have a spreadsheet for calculations?

I started to make one myself--add this much (X) to adjust to so much PPM. Then I found an app that does it, so I didn't.

I'd like to reverse the process--I added this much chemical and the level went from X to Y, therefore the total volume must be Z.

I have an irregularly shaped pool and my estimate of volume was always at best a guess, since there are only two flat planes anywhere in the pool--the rest are curves. I'd like to just solve it as algebraically as I can. If I add 2000 mL of 12.5% chlorine and the ppm goes from 3.4 to 3.6, the volume must be a certain fixed value. I figure someone else must have done this before me and can save me looking up all the conversions, etc.

Example:
My calculated volume based on my measurements & water depth is 25,600 gallons.
Using effects of adding says this is what 16 oz of muriatic acid will do in that volume.

Yet that was consistently not my result. I was coming up short. With all chem additions, not just acid.
So I gradually increased my volume in increments of 500 gallons in poolmath until my actual results began lining up with the estimated effects.
I now use 27000 gal for all my calculations and its dead on. I suspect this is due to my somewhat uneven pool floor that creates various water depths.
I suggest using something that doesn’t degrade & that you can also very accurately measure to help you determine this initially. Which is why I used ma in my example. Bleach concentration can vary due to degradation.

The other very best way to get an accurate volume estimate is to read your water meter before & after filling the pool. So if you ever end up with that opportunity be sure to take it.
