Any pilot-able robotic pool cleaners out there?

I have a pool and a robotic pool cleaner that's working exactly as advertised, following its internal programming, which is currently totally missing areas that need to be cleaned again and again. Ok, ok, I'm sure it'll go over the entire bottom---eventually--but I get impatient and watching the beast go over areas that are already cleaned when there are areas that still need to be cleaned is frustrating. So...
Are there any robotic cleaners out there that will let me pilot the beast with a joystick? There are bluetooth joysticks you can use to interact with game apps on your cell phone, and I would like to play "Get The Dirt" on my phone, controlling the beast in the pool, piloting it over the areas that need cleaning the most. Anything out there like this? .
[I do not mean the ability to set patterns through a phone app, but to be able to pilot the beast over the area it just keeps missing using its internal patterns.].

Once those "remote" wifi controlled robotics get under water they lose signal as the water absorbs the 2.4gHz signal most use. The WYBOT line advertises a couple that you can control water.
