Our pool will be finished in a couple of months, and I have a question for you that spend a lot of time in your pools (e.g. every day). Do you ever have issues with ear infections or fungus, AKA "swimmer's ear"? That's really easy to get if you constantly get water in your ear, but I haven't seen it mentioned here. I just wondered if anybody has experienced it and how you deal with it. Surely you don't wear ear plugs every time you swim!

When I was young - I always had earaches in the summer. Every time I swim now I use “Swimmers Ear” - buy it on Amazon. This is more habit then need.
If the pool is properly sanitized then there should be no issue.

I remember getting it every summer as a kid, but I was also on the neighborhood swim team so I was in the pool 6 days a week with my head partially submerged.

As an adult, I've never had swimmer's ear. Of course my ears stay much drier since I use the pool to cool off after yard work, then lounging the rest of the day on a pool noodle and drinking a beer. :)
