Any guess what is wrong with my spa pump??

I initially thought this was just vibrating going on. I fixed it kind of by putting a wedge under the pump itself and it seemed to work for a bit but it just keeps coming back.

I am not sure if I need to drain and take the spa pack out and make sure the pump is secure etc.

I wanted to see if maybe it it the pump or pack before I do so.

It seems to heat up and filter properly.

The Pack feels warm to the touch when this is happening.

This noise is really irritating and loud.

Sounds like excessive vibration from the pump. Something I've seen on a few occasions is small pieces of stuff get drawn into the pump and lodge inside the cavity of the impeller. Spa pumps often use a hollow impeller with vanes inside, these pieces lodge in the impeller or drape over one of the vanes and create an imbalance and vibration. This trash could be from many sources but I've found chunks of plastic and fabric bands from the filter. The bands are sometimes glued on the filter to hold the pleat spacing. The bands are fairly durable but the glue can fail, if the band or parts of it ends up in the impeller it's tough enough it won't just fall apart.

You could also just have a rough bearing in the motor, either way it will probably require pulling the pump out and taking it apart.
