Any good refill kits for Taylor K-1000?

I have the basic Taylor K-1000 that I use pretty often, especially for my hot tub. The little 22 mL bottles are getting more and more expensive (in the grand scheme of things... I realize it's really not that expensive.) Are there any good alternatives to buying this in a larger quantity and cheaper? I saw something like this for Orthotolidine. But not sure about the R-0014 for pH testing.

Any recommendations? Anyone ever buy a larger supply?

Don't forget to factor in the 1-2 year shelf life of most reagents when considering buying in bulk. Even the most dedicated homeowner should not be able to go through 16 ounces of OTO and phenol red in a year.

There is no point in buying test reagents in bulk. I have a large bottle of r0013 in my fridge that will probably take five years to use. I think it’s going to be out of date before I even open it. Seamed like a good idea at the time.

You could probably get the r0600 in a 2oz bottle which would be more cost effective but it won’t fit in the K1000 box. I just received some r0871 (2oz) and had to get the r0870 as part of a refill kit. Amazon was my only choice for original Taylor reagents, I just have to accept the higher cost for reagents over here and although I’m generally happy with the purchase the expiration dates on both aren’t the best.

After the cost of a decent kit I’m still saving a heap of cash buy self testing and managing my pool myself as apposed to having it done by a service or relying on a store to sell me a bunch of stuff I don’t need.

I tend to buy the super huge bottle (16oz) of cya reagent every now and then since it stores well.
I have bought a big r0871 (16 oz) in the past but I use it year round for both hot tub and pool. I run my pool cya in the 80’s and keep my fc around 10 so I do use quite a bit especially if I need to raise to slam level for some reason. I also refilled some family members bottles with it & have instances where I test other people’s pools & I still almost didn’t use it up before it got wonky. The 2oz bottles are alot easier to ensure that you use it all before its no longer fresh while still being a good value.
For dpd powder I buy it right before i run out. Its so humid here that it doesn’t fare well being stored for long periods.
