Does anybody have experience with an inverter technology heat pump for an in-ground pool? In the U.S. the Raypak Crosswind appears to be the only available unit. Overseas the same units (OEM'ed from Fairland in China) are sold under a variety of brand names.

Our pool is 15,000 gallons. We currently have an AquaComfort 112,000 BTU heat pump. Still functioning but elderly.

The heater sizing calculator on the Raypak web site is currently not working. It appears that the largest Crosswind model is 61,000 BTU. But, there is dealer in England that says units from 13 KW to 28 KW (44,000 BTU to 95,000 BTU) will work for 15,000 gallons (57 cubic meters).

Thanks.
