Any Car Enthusiasts? Peking to Paris race

I am jumping for joy right now, my Dad is in the Peking to Paris car rally and he just moved up to 2nd!! Had to share with someone :-D

The car made the top of the daily results page too... (http://www.pekingparis.com/extra934.html) he and driver Gary are in a 1959 VW Cabriolet, we are hoping they can continue to Paris since we beleive Gary broke his colorbone many days back when he hit the windshield and is now experiencing some eye problems too.

If there are any racing enthusiast out there - please give a cheer for Car 102!
