Another sad reminder that pools can kill

I'm so confused? Not one of the 60+ in attendance thought of jumping into that pool when they realized he was missing? Do murky pools give the illusion of being able to see the bottom? Heartbreaking
 
That is my local TV station. I watched the report on it this morning as I was getting ready to head to work, and thought... "And THAT folks is the reason we say that it is not safe to go swimming (or let anyone else) if the pool is not CLEAR!"
It is a shame that a 2 year old lost his life, but it could just as easily have been a non swimming adult.
If you can't see the bottom CLEARLY, it is not safe.
