Finally, I narrowed yesterday's photos down to around 70. I won't send you guys all of them! Lol!! As you said, Sandissimos, if I had any doubt about saving a picture or not, I saved it. But I had many almost exact duplicates.
Yesterday was so crazy that I've got some catching up to do. I'm beginning with evening before last.... or Tuesday afternoon/evening.
I will post more than you guys can stand, but this is my Baby! And you know how proud parents (or obnoxious parents) can be. This is after the first day of plaster before the acid wash. Isn't she beautiful?!!! If you're waiting for your plaster, you will be amazed how different and beautiful your pool looks. I don't care how many other newly plastered pools you've seen on TFP. When it's yours, it is totally different from the photos of others' pools. (again, like a newborn baby - they all look like ET, but thank goodness not to the parents, or half of us wouldn't keep them!!!)
Another post plaster, pre acid wash...
And another....
A big hug if you can guess this one!!!
Not quite as pretty here, because of the plaster mess still on the tiles, but it does get better.
Last shot of the post plaster and pre acid wash. The sun is setting on a wonderful day! (cheesy, right?)
I'll be back, but Mark the Pump Guy just texted and wanted a shot of how full the pool is this morning. I sent him that photo, and he said it's time for me to start filling the spa with one of the hoses. Something else I learned that might be helpful to others not yet at this stage - You don't want to pull a hose if it's the only one you have and the pool isn't completely filled yet. He said if the water sits at one level for too long, it can leave a line stain on the new plaster. That's another reason he wanted me to use 2 hoses, so I can keep one going while filling the spa with the other.
Even though my landscape crew and I have gotten to know each other after these almost 4 weeks, I'd still rather they not surprise me and catch me in my jammies!!! So off to ready for the day and start the spa filling!!!!
Later,
Suz.
