Another mustard alge problem

Ok so I think this is mustard alge that I have been fighting and it keeps coming back. I’ve slammed 3 times this year and it keeps coming back water is crystal clear, did onclt last night and passed I always keep fc at 8

I have 1 skimmer and 1 return
Could my problem be I don’t have enough circulation

You're passing a OCLT, does the algae brush away?

Yes it brushes right up
I started another slam yesterday

Last time I did the slam and passed everything I brought my chlorine up to 24 and let it drift back down to normal and the algae came back within two days so my question is once I bring it up to 24 do I keep testing and keep it at 24 for 24 hours then let it drift back down?

There is no 24 hours time limit or range with the SLAM Process. You need to maintain SLAM level FC till you pass the 3 criteria.

1. Clear Water
2. <.5ppm CC
3. Pass the Overnight Chlorine Loss Test

A SLAM's a SLAM. Even if it's a mustard algae SLAM. You're done when you pass the three criteria.

At 24 hours you should also make sure you're still passing the 3 criteria.
