Hi all,

I just managed to get this ancient thing out of the niche and am looking for suggestions. Given the patina (albeit beautiful), I figure I should replace everything. I want to go LED.

Photos show the light measurements, niche is a smidge larger.

Thanks in advance.

Old Anthony Pool light.

What type of switch controls the light?

Looks like a standard switch in line from a 20A breaker. It has never worked in the 3 years I’ve been here and I’d like to finally tackle it. I’ll call Sunseeker on Monday and see what they say. Thank you.

I do not see a GFCI CB or outlet your pool light is connected through which is a major safety issue.

A 120V pool light that is not GFCI protected should not be used.

I’ve got the electrician coming to do the GFCI breakers and outlets. The pump should also be GFCI right?

I am measuring my niche and it looks like a Pentair Amerilite would fit. I would like to be running a 12v light but only see it in 120v. Any advice on something similar that is 12v rated?

I called Sunseeker and they have this nicheless fixture but they are not UL rated and I want this thing done properly.

Would greatly appreciate any input on a 12v fixture that can take an LED bulb. I read too many bad reviews on the LED fixtures like Pentair Intellibrite. I will have a transformer installed as well to step down to 12v.

Thanks!

I am not sure if the exact dimensions of the Anthony light.

See if this Spa Electrics light will fit...
