Always have algae in the same spot along the seam

My numbers are very good see below. Water is clear as you can see, but I always have algae here. Maybe I'm not brushing enough to break it up. I brush it away about twice a week but after a day it's back in the same spot. Should I be brushing daily until it's gone? Is a SLAM required? Maybe it's because I leave my solar cover on the pool all the time ??? Any thoughts?

Would it make a difference with algae leaving the solar cover on 24/7
If this was to be algae, I would leave the cover back. I'd also do a very thorough inspection of the cover as they have been known to contribute to algae growth.

It is definitely algae. When you say leave the cover back you mean don't put it on? It's so odd my numbers are in range as listed above. I brush it now every day and then it somehow reappears the next morning. I even did a slam and got the OCLT down to zero CL loss. I'm maintaining CL at like 10. So strange. Only thing I can think of is I started using a 2 speed pump on low all the time maybe it's not circulating enough, but I could just be reaching at straws. I can't get rid of it

So strange.
I don't think it's the low speed issue. More than anything I would be concerned with the sweltering summer heat & moisture getting trapped up-under the cover and just creating a sweaty mess allowing algae to grow. I don't have a cover, but that's all I can think of. Perhaps algae spores are really embedded in there and it will take more than one cleaning and lots of sunshine to kill them off?

I haven't covered the pool in a week to see if it was that and it's made no difference. It's the strangest thing. Pool is crystal clear and when I brush it the algae poofs green and then settles back in the next day in similar spots. I took the ladder out and scrubbed it and added chlorine to the ladder as well in the holes. Only difference from last year is I have a pump on low from a single speed high pump. I did SLAM the pool and lost a little FC overnight from like 20 to 16., I guess I didn't maintain the 20. I bumped by CYA to 60 also. Current readings are

FC 12 (sunlight and swimming consumed some of the FC from 16)
PH 7.8 (will bring that down a little later)
CYA 60
Salt 3700
TA 40
CH - didn't test but in the past was 150. Have to check it again but I don't have hard water I dont think.
