Hi! I am a new pool owner and just started the slam process yesterday. Our alkalinity was 140 when we started but checked this morning and it’s 150. We have a 30k gallon pool so added liquid chlorine yesterday. Should I add muriatic acid during this process, like today sometime?

You should adjust your pH to 7.2 prior to starting the SLAM Process. During the SLAM Process, only test FC. At the end, when you do a Overnight Chlorine Loss Test, you need to test CC also.
