Hi Everyone. Just came across this website and read thru most articles. I’ve ordered the tf100 since my pool guy was “taking care”. I’ve seen 3 different places with different stains etc. any help would be appreciated.

I don’t have my numbers yet. Once I get the Kit I’ll post my numbers

Hello and welcome to TFP! It may just be my laptop or my vision, but I'm having a hard time seeing the discolorations you are describing. The water test results might help. If the areas look faded, it might be a chemical issue or perhaps the pebble was installed. If you see some darker areas, again it may be related to a pool product (chemistry) or perhaps metals. But we'll come back to all of that once you get the kit.

In the meantime, be sure to update your signature and save our Pool Care Basics page to your favorites. We'll watch for those results.

I am seeing some of the staining between the pebbles in the finish. Can you use a wooden stick even a toothpick to pick at them and see if they come off. If you can grab a piece and smear it on a white piece of paper is it green?
