Wedding cake steps. We just installed an above ground 24 ft pool. We will be adding the wedding cake steps tomorrow. Someone gave them to us, today I clean really good with bleach and pressure washed the entire steps. When given to us, it had algae under and dirt thick on top, sides and underneath. I have read some horror stories and afraid that I didnt get it all and it will grow in the pool. What are you thoughts about algae still living on these steps especially in places I couldnt get the color back to white? Also, I will make sure there are holes drilled in the bottom and try to put a sock or something with a tablet. Is there anything else, I should do or should I not put in my pool. I am so afraid to transfer it to the pool. Please share your thoughts. Thank you
