I just noticed this yellowish stain. I have the TF-100 kit and test weekly and my numbers are good except ph that always runs high, I'm guessing because it is somewhat new plaster. My numbers on Monday were FC 4.0, PH 7.8, TA 70, CH 250, CYA 50, SALT 3,000, with a temperature of 89 and a CSI -0.13 Today I got FC 5.5, PH 7.8, TA 80, CH 250, CYA 60, SALT 3,200, CSI -0.4
Is it algae?

I went back to the pool and saw another one but smaller. My fc is good my cc is 0 and my water is clear. If I slam, until when?? because the numbers are good?

When you brush it can you see it "moving on" or does it just disappear? I thought I had mustard and it turned out to just be dirt. Can you try and snatch some of it and feel it?

I think it just disappeared. I haven't seen more of it. I'm just so confused when all my numbers are good.

Just finished the test and both times the results were the same, 6ppm. I did it twice both times just to make sure. I noticed in my pool robot that the filters had yellow stuff ( pollen ? ) first time seeing that.

Yes, I disconnected it.
Okay, good. That should rule-out algae at this point. It might just be something seasonal that blew-in through your pool enclosure and settled. I wouldn't be too worried by it at this point unless you start to see an unusual drop in your FC level.

I’m relieved, yesterday I was in panic mode. I’ll keep an eye on the chlorine. Thanks for everything, like always so diligent.

How long ago was your pool installed? Do you have a cover? I ask because my issue was all of the dirt surrounding my pool area. Until I had grass finally start coming in I had this type of thing on an extreme level. I also live in flat, completely wide open land. When the weather says we have 10 mph winds I just know my winds are 20 mph lol.

We moved in January but I believe that the pool was done December. We have grass all around so dirt for us is not a problem.
