I have been having a rough time with algae this year...Now that the season is closing I am ready to close my pool but I had one more huge green algae outbreak....I removed my walk up ladder and added a whole bottle of algaeside to kill it and vacuum to waste....The water is clear and the algae dead but a scale like compund is completely covering my above ground liner....I have attached a picture of where the stairs were removed to see how bad it is....How can I remove this? Should I mess with it before closing or will I be able to remove it next year? The only thing that will remove this stuff is a green scotch bright pad - Not good for a vinyl liner....Help!!!!
