Air relief assembly not locking into place

Hello TFP,

I have a Hayward Progrid DE Filter to which I just tried to upgrade the manual air relief assembly for the filter. However, the air relief assembly is not locking into place. Has anyone ever had this problem or can give me any idea of what to do next?

Welcome to TFP! I don't have personal experience with this filter, but you can see what they did on this thread. Almost sounds as if something is pinched - O-ring perhaps? Might need to remove the venting portion and/or get to it all from underneath again to check. Maybe that link will give you some tips to get started.
