Last year, we had new pump installed May 2020 and all of sudden sometime i. JULY, there is air bubble in the pump and when the timer kicks in, it takes little longer to water to come out. When it is raining day, there is no bubble so I tried to tighten the square lid (different than round lid with o ring. This doesn't have like o ring) and lube square rubber ring, but still same issue. (Tried to contact pool store for this issue, but unable to)
And right before I closed the pool in September, there is water in pressure gauge and clear water glass.
What cause this?
Leak on return side pipe?
Pls see pictures
PS: I have sand filter s244t with glass media and never changed it since 2015.
Maybe, water channel causing this?
Do I need to change filter media?
