I have a 21x43 AGP with a 7 ft deepend. It was installed in 2012. So it looks like the skimmer has a small leak I haven’t noticed and there is rust forming. Also on one of the oval ends at the bottom there is some rust forming. So I’m looking for some advice and experience anyone else may have had in repairing or slowing this down. Just from the sheer size of this pool I don’t want to replace it. The skimmer part rust I just noticed so I don’t know how long that has been Going on. The oval section has looked like this for a couple years now. I believe it is just from the outside only, being caused by the dirt being splashed up on the metal since I havent done anything around the base on that side. The rest of the pool is in fine shape and had gravel around the base of it. I was wondering if something like a rust stabilizer or something similar may work and then repaint it? I have never used one of these products. Has anyone else tried this? I‘m in CT and wanted to try to repair before the season starts this year. Thank!
